Optics for Technology (OPT)

Welcome to the webpage of the section Optical technologies. Our goal is to develop optics-based technology to achieve more accurate, more sensitive and more efficient precision systems. Indeed, we foresee that the next generation of high-tech engineering solutions will need embedded optical systems to control and use mechanical systems with accuracy; while at the same time a next generation of precision mechanical systems will be needed to control and use light at the single photon level.
