Registration

Once you have started your PhD at TU Delft you need to register yourself at the Graduate School. In order to do so please ask your department secretary to fill the following registration form and send the form together with your Master diploma, transcript of records belonging to your Master diploma, CV, passport/Identity card as scanned files via e-mail to Faculty Graduate School ME. After the Faculty Graduateschool ME has received the documents you will soon receive an invitation to be registered at the TU Delft Graduate School.

During the introduction at the University Graduateschool you will be formally registered and receive general information about the TU Delft PhD programme. You also need to bring with you the following information:

When having a Non-Dutch university diploma
  • A certified copy of your MSc degree
    If you do not have a certified copy you may also bring your original degree together with a regular copy
  • A certified copy of the transcript of records belonging to your MSc degree
    If you do not have a certified copy you may also bring your original transcript of records together with a regular copy
  • If the documents are not written in Dutch, English, French or German: a certified translation of the degree and transcript of records
  • Your passport (which should state the city or town where you were born)
  • A Curriculum Vitae (In Dutch or English)

When having a Dutch university diploma
  • Your passport (which should state the city or town where you were born)
  • A certified copy of your MSc degree
    If you do not have a certified copy you may also bring your original degree together with a regular copy
  • Your passport (which should state the city or town where you were born)

After the introduction at the University Graduate School you will receive an invitation for an intake meeting at the ME Faculty Graduate office. During that meeting you receive more specific information about the PhD development cycle and we will discuss the PhD agreement and Doctoral Education programme. Also you will be informed about your PhD mentor.
