Sophie Tschirpke

Faculty: Applied Sciences. Expertise: Research Data Management, writing of scientific experimental protocols, protein bio-physics, protein biochemistry.

Bio: I studied (Bio)-Chemistry at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) and joined TU Delft as a PhD researcher (group of Liedewij Laan, department of Bionanoscience), where I was setting up a new experimental system utilizing purified proteins, to elucidate how protein complexes from yeast self-organize and form patterns. During this time I developed significant interest in research reproducibility, sharing of data and experimental protocols, and the interface of art and science. I joined the Data Steward team in November 2024.
