Application is closed
From November 2024 until the summer 2025,
three online mentorship meetings will be held.
The in person event will be on January 20-24, 2025.
Looking for a mentor?
As a mentee, you get access to at least three personal meetings
with one or two faculty members at TU Delft to work towards
your academic career goals not limited to your research.
Together with other mentees in your F+Cube round,
you are invited for a week-long training program on campus.
Applying as mentor?
As a mentor, you get to invest at least three personal meetings
into the future diverse academic environment for you
and your colleagues. During F+Cube week, you are invited
to participate in research and social events on campus.
What is F+Cube?
F+Cube is an award-winning Future Female+ Faculty mentorship program that matches senior PhD students and postdocs from under-represented groups in STEM internationally with faculty members at TU Delft. Mentors guide the mentees in preparing their academic portfolio and navigating academic job market.
How was F+Cube created?
F+Cube was spearheaded by Anna Lukina as the first in The Netherlands pro-active long-term initiative to grow female+ academic faculty in STEM internationally. You can read Anna's interview to TU Delta.
Why is it Female+?
There is no simple answer. A short one is that anyone should have access to mentorship and benefit from it. For female+ researchers and professionals in STEM, these are more difficult to achieve because of their initially lower "social capital" than for the remaining majority. For a longer answer, we encourage you to read "Best practices and useful links".
