Sander Goossens
In 2022, I joined the Delft Bioinformatics Lab as a PhD student under the supervision of prof. Joana Gonçalves. My research focuses on developing multimodal machine learning methods for molecular atlases of the human body.
Before joining the group, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) in 2017, and Nanobiology, a joined degree at TU Delft and EUR, in 2019. In 2022, I received my master’s degrees in Computer Science and Nanobiology (both cum laude) from TU Delft. During my master’s, I performed my thesis at the Delft Bioinformatics Lab on the integrated learning of mutational signatures and prediction of DNA repair deficiency.
