Ivan Stresec

I am a Delft Bioinformatics Lab PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Joana Gonçalves. I joined the lab in late 2023 and am researching multimodal machine learning methods for molecular maps of human tissue. Previously, I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER). My master's thesis was on the topic of survival prediction. I was also a visiting master's student at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2020. My main interests lie in developing computational methods that help us better understand and leverage patterns within complex data.
