Duco Gaillard

I’m a PhD student at the Delft Bioinformatics Lab of TU Delft and at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I have a BSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the TU Delft.

Currently, I work on developing a ML classifier for the pre-operative detection of ovarian cancer, based on a simple blood sample. To this end, I integrate multiple data types such as shallow Whole Genome Sequencing, targeted Deep Sequencing and RNA sequencing.
