Agnes Axelsson

Agnes Axelsson is a postdoctoral researcher working with Catharine Oertel. She received her PhD in human-robot interaction from KTH in Stockholm in November, 2023 (published under the title "Adaptive Robot Presenters: Modelling Grounding in Multimodal Interaction").

Since February 2024, she has been working in the "Technology-assisted Self-Management: Preventing Relapse and Crisis by the Severe Mentally Ill Themselves" project, finding ways to develop memory for virtual agents or systems that interact with severely mentally ill individuals. How can we know what to remember about an individual, what to do with that information, and how to make decisions in a way that is understandable and justifiable to trained mental health professionals?
