PhD student
Gianluca Limodio was born in Scafati (SA), Italy, on 9 February 1990. He obtained a bachelor in electronic engineering from the University of Napoli Federico II in 2011, with a thesis related to characterization of bias stress in organic transistors. He obtained the master at the same University also in Electronic engineering with a thesis, developed at TU Delft in the Erasmus Program, about the characterization of load-pull measurement system for millimetre-wave applications. He joined the PVMD group as PhD candidate in January 2015. He is currently working on fully-implanted c-Si solar cells. His research goal is to investigate materials, processes and architectures for high-efficiency c-Si solar cells.
