4TU.Alumni Event in Munich

Alumni in the Munich area are very welcome to join the 4TU.alumni event in Munich on Wednesday 12 February 2025. This gathering provides a good opportunity to learn more about innovations at BMW as keynote speaker and TU Delft Alumnus of the Year 2014 Adrian van Hooydonk (Senior Vice President BMW Group Design) will take the floor. The evening programme will also include updates from the 4.TU universities.

Meet fellow alumni from TU Delft, the University of Twente, TU Eindhoven, and Wageningen University & Research. With over 1.800 TU graduates living in the Munich region, we are sure to have a great cross-selection of participants from different companies, sectors, and roles! The closing drinks will maximise your networking opportunities.

Adrian van Hooydonk

Adrian van Hooydonk graduated from in Industrial Design at TU Delft in 1988. He continued his studies in Switzerland, where he studied Automotive Design at the Art Center College of Design. Van Hooydonk began his career at BMW as a designer. After having worked for several years in the USA for the renowned DesignworksUSA, he was appointed Director of Design at BMW in 2004. Today, Van Hooydonk is Senior Vice President of BMW Group Design and responsible for some 700 designers as well as the design of Rolls-Royce, MINI, and BMW. In 2014 he received the Dutch Creative Industry Federation’s very first Global Innovation Award for services to the Dutch creative industry. He is also an honorary member of the Association of Dutch Designers.
