Delft Female Impact Event - 'Women for Water'

10 oktober 2024 15:30 t/m 19:15 - Locatie: TU Delft Campus | Zet in mijn agenda

The Delft Female Impact Community organises their annual Alumnae event on 10 October 2024 at TU Delft. This year's theme is 'Women for Water'. Water is a basic human right and should be available to all. Yet, many of our global societal challenges revolve around water.

Two inspiring female scientists will introduce us to how they tackle these challenges with their impactful 'water work': Doris van Halem, Professor in Drinking Water Quality and Treatment at TU Delft and Marjolijn Haasnoot, environmental scientist at Deltares and Professor in Climate Change Adaptation in Deltas and Coasts at Utrecht University.

This afternoon we will also convene in interactive roundtable discussions with all participants. What are we all doing to combat water challenges? And how does water inspire and empower us? Taking into account the widest variety of perspectives possible, we intend to provide a valuable opportunity to learn from each other and think together about solutions to global water problems.

We will close the afternoon with ample time to further network over drinks and bites.

Don't miss this opportunity to be inspired and be part of a community committed to positive change in the world. We look forward to welcoming you!
