You have tried and tested a reflective exercise, but wonder: (how) will it survive the educational system? This module facilitates a first step from prototype to a locally optimised reflection innovation. This module will help participants to iterate on their prototype from the perspective of the system it needs to survive within. Participants of “Embedding Reflection” are asked to bring the result of a practice test with a (partial) prototype of a reflective exercise.

Next academic year we will run Reflection Lab again, starting in September with “Grip on Reflection”.

Reflection Lab is where we condense our experience and tools into themed, concise and hands-on modules for educational practitioners like you, to get familiar and experiment with reflection in your own educational context. At the moment our offering consists of:

• Grip on Reflection: Gain an outlook on reflection and pick an educational situation where you see a need for reflection emerge. 
• Equipped with Reflection: Conceptualise an intervention, prototype, and experiment in your own environment. 
• Embedding Reflection: Optimise that prototype to improve the embedding of this innovation into your local system context.
