Lunch Lecture Climate Action Programme
14 december 2023 12:30 t/m 13:45 - Locatie: Faculty CEG lecture hall D, Building 23 | Zet in mijn agenda
You are cordially invited to the monthly lunch lecture by the TU Delft Climate Action Programme. The lectures will start at 12:45 with free vega lunch from 12:15. The aim for this event is to share knowledge, find peers and start collaborations in the field of Climate Action. They can be attended by students and researcher from TU Delft, but as well for companies, government and knowledge institutes. For changing the climate is a challenge for all of us, by all of us!
The TU Delft has committed to harnessing its strengths for climate action. The complexity and urgency of the climate crisis requires not only accelerated innovation and research, but also education that empowers the next generation to face climate challenges head-on.
For that reason, rather than talking about students, let us discuss with students what climate action education should look like. Together with a student panel, Hans Hellendoorn, Linette Bossen and Saskia Postema hope to answer the following questions:
- What do you want to see in terms of a climate curriculum? What topics or content appeal the most?
- What is needed to achieve the further integration of climate into the curriculum?
- What would be the right space/timing to bring climate action into education?
Registration is mandatory via this form
We need to know how many lunches we must order and do not want to waste any food. Thank you!
