Interface ethics/ epistemology. A new research direction

In this talk, Lavinia Marin will flesh out a new direction of research in Social Media and Internet ethics which she has termed "interface ethics/ epistemology".
We will examine how the design of online interfaces, namely what the user perceives and is asked to interact with, shapes the users' moral and epistemic agency. Lavinia will explore the main concepts entailed by this research direction and will apply them to a case study, namely the sharing of online misinformation.
