Can we get 100% of our energy from renewable sources? Delft Professor of Energy Systems Analysis Kornelis Blok is in the middle of a big scientific argument raging right now.

On Tuesday the 19th of June 2018, at the European Academy of Wind Energy’s Board meeting, TU Delft was awarded the right to host the prestigious EAWE Torque conference in 2020. The conference will be held between the 28th and 30th May 2020 and will coincide with the International Small Wind Turbine Competition hosted annually at TU Delft.

Een accubrand en een scheur in de romp: niets lijkt het Solar Boat Team van het erepodium te kunnen houden. Het TU Delft Solar Boat Team heeft afgelopen weekend in Purmerend een tweede plek behaald tijdens de tweede zonnebootrace van de Solar Sport One competitie. Het team is extra blij met dit resultaat omdat het de afgelopen weken veel pech heeft gehad.

Geen aardgas meer binnen de bebouwde omgeving, maar groen waterstofgas. Of dat een praktisch bruikbare oplossing is, wordt met medewerking van netwerkbedrijven Alliander, Enexis Groep en Stedin onderzocht bij The Green Village.
