Set in Stone

Formation principles create the earth and its rocks, how they were in the past, are today and will be in the future.
Set in Stone is based on three different principles of rock and mineral formation: solidification, sedimentation and metamorphosis. The exhibition takes the visitor into the wonderful world of these principles and imitates the physical experience of these processes. You imagine yourself in the middle of coagulating lava, in a river underwater and finally you enter a space where you experience the pressure under which metamorphic rock is formed. All this while learning more about the different rocks.
