Mineral Dive

Within the scope of the full design, where visitors walk through an exhibition of minerals displayed to elicit an aesthetic experience, the display of the Malachite stone was explored on a small scale.

The exhibition forms a light show created by a series of spotlights and reflections that accent panes of Plexiglas upon which mineral patterns are printed. In addition, the definition of the space within the room is done through walls and displays which together form an extrusion of a crystalline floor pattern.

In this way, a visitor is presented with the aesthetics of minerals such as Malachite within a spacious tive of colours, patterns, and lights. Different types of Malachite stones are exhibited 1:1 within a space reflecting its own characteristics.
