Collaborations
Researchers in our faculty collaborate with numerous academic, public and private partners outside TU Delft. TPM staff members participate and collaborate in Research Schools with other universities, as well as in TU Delft Research Institutes, and in national and international initiatives such as the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Universities, 4TU and the IDEA League. In addition to these formal partnerships, our scholars have wide-ranging international networks with peers in other leading institutions.
TU Delft | The Hague
TU Delft sees important opportunities to further expand its existing strategic cooperation and other ongoing activities with parties in The Hague. We also want to stimulate more intensive cooperation and knowledge-sharing between TU Delft engineers and the governance and policy decision-makers in The Hague. That is why we are developing a TU-wide perspective on cooperation and physical presence in the Hague context, for the benefit of these societal challenges. We see great opportunities for themes such as Climate Action and Energy Transition, Digitisation, and Safety & Security. TPM is playing an important role in the TU Delft / The Hague initiative.
Convergence
TU Delft is specifically expanding its cooperation and partnership with the Erasmus Medical Centre and Erasmus University Rotterdam through the Convergence programme. Convergence covers three themes: Health & Technology, Resilient Delta and AI, and Data & Digitalisation. These themes are relevant to our faculty, because we have in-house expertise in these areas. TPM researchers actively participate in the various Convergence initiatives and contribute their strategic ideas to the developments and agendas within the three themes.
