Project Title: Geopolitical implications that a shift to green hydrogen will have for the EU

Policy Analyst with a background in electical & computer engineering, specialized in energy economics. Through my MSc in EPA I am specializing in the geopolitics of the energy sector, with a particular focus on the energy transition. I also perform and write analyses for various think tanks in Czech Republic, Bulgaria, the UK, Russia and Australia.

I am researching the geopolitical implications that a shift to green hydrogen will have for the EU. For that I am using a holistic approach and pattern modelling based on institutionalism frameworks. Using these patterns and through comparative case study I aim to explain potential ways that the current gas system or a future hydrogen-based system might unfold and then compare similarities, differences and common patterns.
