Thermo-X
"Deliver heat, in the right place, at the right time and at the right temperature"
Thermo-X is the TU Delft platform for thermal energy systems and brings together all the expertise of TU Delft on low and high temperature heat. Our platform fosters coordination around research, development and teaching activities for thermal energy systems (i.e. heating and cooling) and strives to identify and develop demonstration sites.
We aim to play a major role in the energy transition by developing thermal systems of the future that are sustainable, that balance supply and demand, and are accepted by the public. TU Delft covers all relevant fields of expertise required for this transition.
Thermo-X is part of the TU Delft Urban Energy Platform.
