Travel | Day 6&7
The students used their weekend to travel across Europe, to reach from Delft to Covilhã. They chose to travel by bus, as a more sustainable mean of transportation. In this way, their travel "costed" four times less CO2 emissions to the planet, compared to the corresponding flight. The trip started from Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, crossed Belgium, France and Spain, to end in Covilhã, in Portugal. On the way, the students got the chance to get to know each other better, since, for two consecutive days, the bus became their meeting, working and sleeping space.
