What you will do

You will be part of a small and divers team that develops and maintains embedded real-time controllers and several supporting graphical user interfaces. When working on such high-end system, a wide range of technologies are combined; control systems for the machines, industrial communication protocols and sensor and servo technology.

The different technologies you encounter makes your tasks challenging and versatile. Your core responsibility is to design, implement, and test motion control software and the user interface software. Translating customer needs into achievable product requirements is also part of the job.

Other tasks you are involved in:

  • Maintaining and improving the real-time Linux operating system
  • Configuring and tuning the control software for a wide range of motion systems
  • Analyse field data and provide technical assistance to the customer support team
  • Improving the internal software development process

Job requirements

  • Master, discipline Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB and Python
  • Knowledge of control theory and kinematics
  • Experience with C++ is an advantage
  • Affinity with mechatronic systems, servo technology and industrial communication protocols
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
