Are you looking for help? Or do you need support with (parts of) your studies? For students, there are several options for guidance and support during your studies. 

 

Academic Counsellors

Academic Counsellors are your first point of contact if you need support with study-related issues and training in study skills. They will help you with more complex personal problems that affect your studies.

Studying with a disability

Are you encountering obstacles in your studying due to a disability or other special needs? (e.g. dyslexia, AD(H)D, chronic illness, visual, auditory or motor impairment, autism spectrum disorder)? Then check out the options for support.

Psychologists

The psychologists are there to provide you as a student with short-term support and guidance for (psychological) problems that impede your studies.

Confidential Advisor

A confidential advisor provides support and advice to students who have to deal with undesirable behaviour or unequal treatment within their study programme. Examples include: bullying, discrimination, stalking, (sexual) intimidation, abuse of power and violence.

Student Councellors

Your first point of contact if you have questions or problems concerning your degree programme is your academic counsellor in the faculty. Your academic counsellor may refer you to the student counsellors.

Financial assistance (RPF) in case of unforeseen circumstances

If your studies are delayed due to a situation beyond your control, you may be eligible for a DUO provision or financial support from the Profileringsfonds (RPF).

Are you a student carer providing care to a dependent person in your immediate social circle and looking for support or information?

Pregnancy and student parent

Have you become pregnant during your degree programme? Or are you a parent who is studying? If so, you could be eligible for facilities from the university. Some form of financial support may also be possible.
