Biography
Ignasi is a PhD candidate in the Policy Analysis section at the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. He obtained an integrated master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London, and later an MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis at TU Delft, with a focus on climate change economics and macroeconomic policy. Research
His PhD research focuses on developing computational general equilibrium modelling approaches to estimate direct and indirect economic damages from climate-induced disasters, to better assess the adaptation needs of modern societies. In particular, he seeks to understand the interaction between private and public climate change adaptation at the macro level due to these impacts, to help develop sound macroeconomic adaptation policies.
