Biography

Cath is the policy advisor on Academic Integrity in the Strategic Development Unit’s Integrity Office. She has spent many years working across the various parts of the “research-impact cycle”. After more than a decade as a researcher and lecturer in the UK, she turned her attention to knowledge dissemination, communication and application, building on an underlying interest in putting science to work.

As a science communicator, publisher and environmental campaigner, she’s worked on targeting scholarly communications to different stakeholders. With subsequent experience in managing change in scholarly organisations, most recently she’s contributed to research reporting and scholarly communications at IHE Delft.

As a part of TU Delft’s Integrity Office Cath focuses on issues such as Research Compliance, Research Integrity and Plagiarism & Fraud. She also acts as the secretary for the Human Research Ethics Committee.
