Plastic Scanner
Essential for proper recycling is the identification of a material. This is what the Plastic Scanner aims to do for plastics, a device to identify the most common types of plastics. In many low and middle income countries sorting is done by hand and is very labour intensive. Developing the project in an open source way makes it more accessible for everyone around the world, and allows for fast innovation!
