About CoR
The CoR department’s research focuses on the interaction between humans and robots. The researchers work on robotics solutions within a “human environment”. A robot that manages to make its way through a space with various obstacles, a robot arm that responds to a person when he pushes the robot, robots that work together, drones that fly into a small space without bumping into each other or an intelligent vehicle that knows exactly where someone crosses the street.
Bachelors, masters and PhD students work on these issues in one of the three labs of the department. The research aim is to enable future robotic systems to learn effectively from diverse experiences, to actively gain knowledge and to manage / improve the process to achieve performance with a high degree of autonomous action.
