Filming and photography rules
The central TU Delft Library is located in a very photogenic building. It is permitted to take photographs or film in this and the other TU Delft Library locations, if you follow a number of rules.
For private use or study purposes
You are allowed to make photographs and take video's, as long as you follow the rules below:
- Taking photographs or film during examination periods isn't allowed.
- Do not use flash (lights) inside the Library.
- You can't take photographs or film in the Glass hall, Orange room and Red room; these rooms are for silent study only.
- Only photograph library visitors and employees if you have asked their permission first or make sure they are not recognizable.
- You can only use the imagery for private or study purposes.
- If you would like to do a photo shoot or a filmshoot in the Library, please contact events-library@tudelft.nl.
For commercial purposes
Commercial photography and film recording is only permitted after approval and by arrangement.
- You can apply for permission by contacting events-library@tudelft.nl, our Events department, at least three work days in advance.
- Only photograph library visitors and employees if you have asked their permission first or make sure they are not recognizable.
- The rules for photography and filming for private use, also apply for commercial purposes.
- Send a copy of each (audio)visual communication which features TU Delft Library by post of by e-mail to events-library@tudelft.nl.
