Irem Gurbuz

PhD candidate

Irem received her MSc Degree in the Erasmus Mundus Chemical Nanoengineering Master’s Program. She is a passionate materials scientist with a background in chemistry and energy. Her PhD work is in collaboration with the mechanical engineering faculty, department of precision and microsystem engineering, in which she is studying stimuli responsive microfiltration membranes membrane, antifouling strategies, and active metamaterials.
