Reinout Ubbink

I obtained my MSc degree in materials science and engineering at the TU Delft. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. A.J. Houtepen I performed my master thesis on light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) based on colloidal quantum dots. In this project I combined the production of physical devices and drift-diffusion simulations of LEC systems. 

In October 2020, I joined the group of Prof. Dr. A.J. Houtepen as a PhD candidate, working on InP quantum dots for lighting applications. The goal of my project is to obtain detailed structural information on InP quantum dots using sophisticated analysis techniques.
