Cost-effective Deposition of Catalyst by Atomic Layer Deposition for Water Splitting
I am a Postdoc in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Delft University of Technology. I earned my PhD in the Water Management Department at the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Geosciences at Delft University of Technology in 2023. In 2022-2023, I started 14 months of research in the Inorganic Membranes group at the University of Twente as a Postdoc Researcher. There I focused on the development of advanced ceramic nanofiltration membranes utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as atomic layer deposition (ALD) and molecular layer deposition (MLD).
In the Department of Chemical Engineering, I am involved in the project "Scalable production of large-area materials with nano-precision for the energy transition," supervised by Prof. Ruud van Ommen. My research focuses on the cost-effective deposition of catalyst layers on nanomaterials using ALD, with the ultimate aim of achieving optimal water electrolyser performance.
