A new user to our microscope? Just fill out the form below and send it to M.Shemesh@tudelft.nl so we can help you choose the best fitted imaging modality and coordinate your training. Want a trial session for proof-of-concept? We provide also imaging services for external users, please contact us at the email above with description of your model system and aim.
Link to registration form.

After training, you can book the system via the KAVLI nanolab booking system. If you are new to the system, you need to make an account and activate it  (make an ‘access request’ for the ‘institute’ Kavli Nanolab).
Important:

You can do this via the My institutes tab under Home, or via Personal – My institutes. Then you need to choose TU Delft for ‘the organisation you're starting this request for’ and then choose your research group.

If you do not fall under a specific PI Lab, you can also choose the main department. Finally, it is also important to type something like: ‘KNIC’ or ‘equipment B.58’ as ‘Registration goal’, to distinguish your request from access requests for the KN cleanroom (B.104).

In case you are working together with a BN lab:

Note that collaborations with BN on BN equipment should proceed via BN personnel (postdocs, PhD students, lab guests). So if collaborators want to avoid getting charged fees, a BN person will have to use the instrument on their behalf.

For more detailed instructions, please follow the links below.

The general description for new users can be found here.

There is also this PDF about the NIS registration, but step 6 is not relevant for users in building 58.
