Gerard Bouland
In 2018, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Applied Sciences Leiden. During my Bachelor’s I did an internship at the LUMC (‘t Hart Lab). After receiving my Bachelor’s degree and during my Master’s I worked as a senior analyst at the LUMC (‘t Hart Lab), I assisted other researchers with their projects and worked on my own research projects. In 2020, I received my Master’s degree (Cum laude) in Bioinformatics from Leiden University. My thesis was supervised by Marcel Reinders. For my thesis we investigated changes in protein correlation patterns in the brain associated with Alzheimer’s Disease. After receiving my Master’s degree I started as a PhD student in the Delft Bioinformatics lab supervised by Marcel Reinders and Ahmed Mahfouz.
