Bianca Cosma

I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in computer science and artificial intelligence from TU Delft, where I also followed the bioinformatics specialization. During my studies, I worked on various projects combining biology and computer science, including genome assembly, deep learning for protein function prediction, and microbiome data analysis. I am currently a PhD student at the Delft Bioinformatics Lab, working under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Abeel. My research focuses on the use of machine learning to improve crop resilience and promote sustainable agriculture, as part of the CropXR project.
