I am a PhD student working on a project oriented towards understanding and predicting partner selection for collaborative tasks, to create more human-oriented AI’s. I obtained my master’s degree in Psychology in Croatia at the University of Zagreb and my second master’s degree in Cognitive Science at the University of Amsterdam. Currently, my research interest focuses on understanding (a) which behavioral cues and evidence affect inferences individuals make about their social partners, especially in the domain of trust and cooperation, (b) how can this information be used to predict, facilitate or/and optimize partner selection, (c) how other contextual variables (i.e. interdependence, social distance) contribute to shaping cooperative behavior. In my studies, I want to apply an interdisciplinary approach, combining psychology, cognitive, and computer science.
