Explore the possibilities of journaling in this personal and creative workshop. How can journaling help you find a creative mental outlet, or help with self-reflection? Can it help improve your mental health? Find the answers and get some hands-on practice with journaling yourself while enjoying a soothing atmosphere and a nice cup of tea, right here at X.
To start you off right, Sam de Jong (former Lijst Beta Student Faculty Council member) and Jesse Poort (Student Program maker at the X Department of Reflection & Lifestyle) will tell you all about their take on journaling. They will share what it has meant for them thusfar, and how they use it in their personal lives. Through their experiences, we will explore the possibilities of journaling, the different ways you can use it for a wide variety of goals, and how it could benefit you in your everyday life.
Then you will get to journal yourself! All you need to bring is a simple notebook and a comfortable pen to get started. X will provide a pleasant atmosphere and nice cup of tea to help you connect with your creative side, as you explore journaling in an ideal writing ambiance. Feeling unsure of what to do? No worries, Sam and Jesse will be there to answer any questions you might have.
Towards the end there will be time to share some of the findings or written pieces for people that want to.
So come discover a new hobby, or maybe just connect with yourself on a different level in a comforting space. X will be ready to help you on your way.
