Health Week at X | Your Balance, Your Rules.
18 March 2024 12:00 till 24 March 2024 23:55 - By: Communication | Add to my calendar
Take the time to reflect on your wellbeing. Let’s take small steps to continue 2024 in a healthy way, as we know that a balance in your physical, social, spiritual and mental health positively affects your everyday life. Come along to X’s Health Week and once again, reflect on what health means to you and experience some of the many benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.
Health Week 2024 is taking place from 18-24 March at X and is all about your balance between the four perspectives of health. Because health is not only about training your muscles and eating healthy. Having a positive attitude in life and feeling balanced is just as important.
What’s there to do?
Check out the schedule below to see which activities you would like to take part in. A lot of activities are free and you don't need an X subscription for them!
Throughout the week, there will be lots of activities; from fit tests and an intuitive dance workshop to a massage techniques course and a escape room event.
Enrolment
Enrolment opens on 4 March at 12.00 for all the activities. Click on the card of the activity you want to take part in. This will take you to the webshop where you can complete your enrolment!

Next to that, the Concept Store will have a salad bar this week, making it possible for you to eat a healthy salad everyday!

*The emphasis of this event is on dialogue. It is the first time X organizes an event about this topic. We hope that learning how to facilitate this dialogue will create a stronger support system. Information about professional support organizations is available for reffering (possible) victims.
This workshop is led by the owners of Samen Helen, whose aim it is to educate people about #MeToo and how to approach conversations about this topic. A free training is available on their website, via this link.

I've been doing this for about two and a half years, and it's been a great learning experience for me in terms of how writing helps process my thoughts. I'd like to share with you, during my talk, the various ways to put your thoughts on paper, how I approach it, and how it might assist you in your daily life.
Emmelie van der Pol from Student Onbeperkt (@emmsvdpol and @studentonbeperkt_delft:
- Hi! My name is Emmelie, I’m 29 years old and a student at the CEG (Civil Engineering) faculty. I’m autistic, which affects the way I perceive this world and how I interact with it. Besides that have been transitioning for several years. My talk will be about how I’ve dealt with both autism and gender dysphoria while studying.
Noor-ul-Ain Javed from Hii (@_noorulain.javed and @we.say.hii):
- I'm Noor, currently pursuing a master's in Design for Interaction (DFI) at IDE. Recently, I underwent an accident resulting in an ankle fracture, catalyzing sudden changes in my life. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, experimenting with various methods to nurture both my body and mind. Through sharing my experiences, I aspire to offer solace and courage to others facing similar challenges, hoping to illuminate the path forward.
