The summer holiday summer holidays are just around the corner, it’s almost that time; time to relax and treat yourself! We present to you the Wellness Days with four different workshops to help you (and others) to relax, unwind and take care of yourself. A well-deserved break at X!

The Wellness Days consists out of four of the most popular workshops of our latest Health Week.

Duo Yoga

They say it takes two to tango, but with yoga? Yes, sometimes it takes two to bring your yoga to another level. So how does this work? We work in couples. You can make a team beforehand, but each participant registers individually. If you don’t have a partner, you will be assigned to a partner. Keep in mind that there will be physical contact, but if there is something you prefer not to do, we understand that.

Soul Cycling

SoulCycle is a high-intensity cardio and strength training on a stationary bike, artfully combined with affirmations that stimulate the soul. This class will leave you sweaty, inspired and on fire.

Massage Techniques in Duo’s

Do you want to learn how to give a (better) 30 minute neck, shoulder and back massage? Come join this workshop for duo’s!

The workshop will start with a 30 minute introduction into the basic techniques, for example you’ll learn which areas to massage, which muscles and what trigger points are. Afterwards each of the participants has 30 minutes to practice the techniques and 30 minutes to be the ‘client’ for their partner.

Some things to keep in mind:

There will be 5 duo’s learning the techniques all together. So you need to be okay with undressing your upper body in a room with other participants and two teachers. Please wear comfortable cloths, for example a track suit or sports clothes. It’s preferable that you wear clothes that you can take off easily. For the people wearing a bra: you can keep it on and take off your bra when you’re laying down on the massage table. So please wear a bra that can be opened at the back. You will be covered with a large blanket on you lower body (over your sweat pants) whilst laying down on the massage table. For extra privacy your partner can hold up a towel while you undress yourself and also cover you while you lay on the massage table and take off your bra.

Extra enrolment info:

Since this is a workshop for duo’s, you enrol as a duo. Make sure to find your partner before you sign up. One person enrols and pays via the web shop for the both of you. The other person can just come along to the workshop.

Almost everyone struggles with their skin, but we shouldn’t have to. We’ve invited Huidzorg West to help us out with acne. What is acne; what is causing the acne; and what will help taking care of the acne? Join us for this session in collaboration with Huidzorg West; the skin specialist of Delft!
