About the book ‘Faalmoed’
The insecure, that is all of us, winning or losing: it’s not a matter of a ‘yes we can mentality’ and individual responsibility. ‘In this book I’m shining my light on the failing, the vulnerable and the flawed individual. We will continue to make mistakes, a lifelong. […] The opportunity to try again is a luxury that we need to cherish. But is it an option to fail in a society that is revolved around success and your accomplishments. How will you deal with the uncertainty when everything comes to a hold? In a world of perfection what does age stand for?’ Over a decade Stine is philosophizing on love, beauty, failing and age. In this book bundle all her ideas come together. Contemporary problems, ancient dilemma’s and personal musings: due to her openness and vulnerability her pieces will speak to a large audience. “Faalmoed” is an ode to the vulnerable person that stumbles through life.
