She is currently undertaking a PhD in Gender Studies at Birkbeck, University of London. Lexter started her PhD research when she lived in London for two years. As part of her PhD research, which focuses on “career women”, Lexter can be hired as a speaker to share her (preliminary) scientific insights during fairs and events. In addition to her academic activities, Lexter is also involved in Dutch Einsteins, her own headhunting agency. Through this agency she regularly gives career-related workshops and training courses at various career events. Lexter also takes the main stage at events that are not so much about her academic or professional background. As presenter/chair/host she worked on behalf of Buma Music in Motion (Pakhuis de Zwijger), Day of the World Music (World Music Dance Center), Dutch Jazz & World Music (Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ), Independence Day Festival South Holland (main stage Het Park, Rotterdam) and Philips (Marbella, Spain).
In addition to her work for "live" audiences, Lexter also has extensive experience in front of the camera. As a model she worked for the following clients, including: Bol.com, GVB Amsterdam, Trendhopper, Ortel, Kruidvat, Leo Lux, Bonduelle, B-Post Belgium, Vlisco. As an actress for the following productions: Primera, Lidl, Univé, ARAG, Achmea, De Belastingdienst, Takeaway.com, “Koos” TV series (Omroep Gelderland) and “Hard Klappen” TV series (AT5).
