Acceptance of innovation

Acceptance of innovation: digitization and smart use of data are important for a range of subjects from monitoring and maintenance, to automated driving and decision support systems.

The implementation of these digital innovations also involves behavioural aspects. Acceptance of innovation can be a challenge in the conservative railway industry, that relies heavily on expert judgement and human-controlled systems. Research will focus on determining and stimulating acceptance of innovation, e.g. through explainable and human-interpretable artificial intelligence(AI)techniques.
