Kick-off DCSE Event entitled Future Computing
The TU Delft Institute for Computational Science and Engineering (DCSE) officially started in the beginning of 2017. DCSE is a collaboration of around 40 computational science and engineering (CSE) research groups of the Delft University of Technology. DCSE plays an important role to obtain funding, provide modern computing facilities, state of the art algorithms, platform to exchange knowledge between the different groups and a brigde between industry & academics.
To celebrate the start of the institute, we welcome internal and external partners to the Kick-off DCSE Event entitled "Future Computing" on the 23rd of May 2017.
An interesting program is composed which covers the broad field of CSE. Presentations of internationally renowned scientists and partners from industry are combined with contributions from the participating groups in DCSE through poster pitches. There will be exhibitions of our sponsors and a demonstration of the Little Green Machine II, entitled "The collision between the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies". The event will be alive including three short classical-music intermezzo from a violinist & pianist and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to establish new connections in the Dutch CSE community.
We hope this day will inspire your future computing activities too.
See you all on Tuesday, 23rd of May 2017!
