‘Open science and open access set to become the norm’
From now on, all new books and journals written, edited or published by BK City staff will have to be open access publications. As a result, all knowledge generated by the faculty will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection.

Bright new showcases at faculty library
The faculty library has been enriched with six brand new bright red showcases. The showcases were created by BK Alumnus Pieter Stoutjesdijk, based on a winning design by student Frederic Engasser.

Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative grant
Grants awarded: the Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI) includes 15 research projects focused on creating innovative and integrated solutions on the nexus between food, water, and energy. Amongst others, the M-NEX project from AE&T has been awarded funding to start work on 1 April.
