Retrospect 'Diversity Parliaments: Reflecting on Diversity & Inclusion' 15 October 2024

Since the launch of D&I Offices across the faculties, this evening took stock: What goals have we achieved? Where do we still have room to grow? And which areas remain unexplored? Staff and students participated in a lively edition of a joint Community dinner and BK Talks (with pizza and drinks) on Tuesday 15 October in the Oostserre, for an open conversation about Diversity and Inclusion within our education and research.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Month 2024

In oktober 2024 viert de TU Delft de EDI-maand met als thema: United for Change, Together We Grow. Gedurende de hele maand biedt het Diversity & Inclusion office in samenwerking met de faculteiten, netwerken en serviceafdelingen workshops, trainingen en andere evenementen georganiseerd door en in de meeste gevallen aangeboden door collega's binnen de TU Delft.

Collaborating on and in a relaxed working environment, where learning, innovating and excelling are paramount. A wonderful goal, but how do we achieve it for everyone? On 2 April, the fourth community dinner took place. Students and staff came together to share a meal, meet each other and discuss culture building, power and culture change.

Third community dinner: what does our faculty know and think about AI?

On Tuesday 13 February, the third 'community dinner' revolved around artificial intelligence. A string of speakers, both BK researchers and third parties, told the 60 or so attendees about their experiences with AI.

About perceiving

In the first week of December, pencils and A4 sheets were laid out on the tables in the Ketelhuis during lunch break. Student and teachers were asked to draw the person sitting across from them. To unexpectedly connect with someone you don't know yet.
