Outstanding reviewer award for Mubariz Zaffar

We congratulate Mubariz Zaffar, PhD candidate in 3DUU Delft AI Lab with the ME Intelligent Vehicles group for receiving an Outstanding Reviewer award from the journal IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L). This was announced at the IEEE ICRA 2022 Award Ceremony on May 26 in Philadelphia (PA). The Outstanding Reviewer award represents going over and beyond what is typically expected from a reviewer, and reviewers are nominated by the associate editors of RA-L. In the 3DUU Lab, Mubariz investigates fundamental research gaps in 3D visual-based localization and proposing novel learning-based solutions to address these challenges, which serves applications in autonomous driving, augmented reality, 3D modeling, landmark recognition, and image clustering.
