QUTECH

We seek group leaders at QuTech who will broadly contribute to our mission to develop scalable prototypes of a quantum computer and an inherently safe quantum internet, based on the fundamental laws of quantum mechanics. Successful candidates will set up an independent research group in one of the divisions of QuTech, working in either theory or experiment, and with expertise in physics, electrical engineering or computer science. Our main strength is in solid-state qubits, where we cover the full stack from materials development to devices, quantum physics, characterization, electronics, computer architecture and applications. Within QuTech, teamwork and close collaboration with both local colleagues and external parties are strongly encouraged. Candidates committed to teaching can also become affiliated with the faculty of Applied Sciences or the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, of TU Delft.
