Open Campus Day and BK-Master Event
On Friday, March 15, more than 1000 students, mostly accompanied by their parents, visited the Open Campus day. On all faculties and in the auditorium there was the possibility to learn more about the Bachelor programs of TU Delft. Because the numerus fixus of BK was closed on January 15, most of the students at our faculty were VWO 5 students.
In Hall A, Leo van den Burg gave four well-attended program presentations during the day, after which those present could also ask questions. In the Oostserre there was an extensive exhibition including models and information about curricula. Several students were present and prepared to answer questions. Visitors could also participate workshops in the model hall or take a tour of the building. This was widely used, because everything was fully booked.
BK-Master Event
On Wednesday, March 20, an informational meeting was held for current undergraduate students that could help them make a choice about their Master's direction. The gallery in the Oostserre was well filled with about 80 interested people. All Master coordinators were present. This time accompanied by Master students so that the perspective from the student's point of view was also addressed. On the basis of statements such as "for this Master you must be good at drawing" and agree/disagree signs, the similarities and differences between the Masters were briefly touched upon. After this, students could ask questions at the information market.
