TU Delft students participating in FISU World University Games

From 27 July to 8 August, the FISU World University Games will take place in Chengdu, China. This international sports event is comparable in size to the Olympic Games. The Netherlands will be present with a delegation of 90 athletes competing in 11 different disciplines. Among them are 10 students studying at TU Delft; 9 rowers and 1 fencer.

Fencer Koen Walet will be in action from 9.30am (3.30am Dutch time) on Friday, 4 August. The rowers will also start their first races on Friday 4 August. Should they make it to the finals, these will be on Sunday 6 August. You can find the competition schedule here.
