Farewell Caspar Chorus
After 25 years Caspar Chorus said goodbye to the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. He did so while giving a farewell lecture in room A on the 25th of August.
Caspar started as a Technische Bestuurskunde Bsc-student in 1995, when TPM was just three years old. After graduating he always stayed in touch with the faculty and in his last years at TPM, Caspar was Head of the ESS department.
TPM: From A-wing to A+ Faculty
Caspar and the faculty were closely connected, which he made clear in his farewell lecture. He elaborated on the development of TPM through the eyes of his own personal growth. Decorated with a lot of wonderful anecdotes and extensive words of thanks towards professors and colleagues that have had an impact on his career, a true trip down memory lane came about.
Caspar stressed the growth and professionalization of the faculty, but also points out that TPM has a very close and personal culture. A culture that, according to Caspar, we need to cherish and protect while the position of TPM in society is becoming more and more prominent.
Afterwards, friends, family and colleagues came together at the TPM café. Personal words were spoken and the TPM band played their greatest hits. All together it was a pleasant and successful goodbye. On behalf of everyone at TPM we want to thank Caspar for his commitment and dedication in the past 25 years. We wish him all the best as Dean of the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.
