Shared second prize for BK alumna Annebé Brouwer during Archiprix 2021
On June 19th, recent graduate Annebé Brouwer was awarded a shared second prize on the 41st edition of the Archiprix 2021.
Her project ''Dreams, power and indifference'' is a case study conducted with the UN. It asks how the political position, architectural form, participatory construction and maintenance of the proposed timber shelters might inspire agency and reinforce the young people's relation to their place. As the jury noted: ‘’The project addresses an urgent theme and is fleshed out very seriously and with great conviction. It seeks to bring young people together, giving them a place of their own as well as providing a framework that is to encourage them to get involved in the community.’’
Annebé’s project can be seen on display at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam till the 29th of August together with the other 29 projects that have competed. Click here for all TU Delft projects that have competed.
